Shift, operated by Shift App Ltd (T/A "Shift"), is a company registered in Ireland with its HQ in Dublin. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Shift mobile app, web platform, or any related services.
By accessing or using Shift, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Shift is a platform that connects businesses with workers. Shift is not an employer, and all working relationships are formed directly between the hiring business and the worker.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Shift app on your device. You must not copy, alter, or reverse-engineer the app except where allowed by law.
You are responsible for any device on which the app is used, and any associated data costs.

Shift does not direct, manage, or supervise any work performed by workers.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and must not share them. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
We may disable accounts that violate our terms or remain inactive for over 6 months.
Businesses have the tools to post available jobs/shifts with full details (e.g., role, timing, pay, location). Shift's algorithm matches these with available workers.
Once a worker has connected and been interviewed by a business and is hired, a confirmed booking is created. Shift does not control who accepts a shift — final decisions lie with the businesses.
You may upload information (profiles, messages, ratings, etc.) — this is your responsibility. Don’t post anything illegal, misleading, or harmful. We may remove or refuse content that breaches these terms.
Your data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using Shift, you agree to our data practices.
We may feature your business (e.g., name, logo, job post) on our platform, website, or social media to promote open roles. You can opt out of being used in case studies or featured content by contacting us.
You retain rights to any content you submit. By uploading it, you grant us a license to use it for operating the service. We own all rights to the Shift platform and content unless stated otherwise.
Shift provides the platform 'as is'. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that jobs will be available. We're not liable for any loss from using the service, unless required by law.
You are encouraged to maintain your own insurance coverage.

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We'll notify you of major changes and may require your acceptance to continue using the service.
These Terms are governed by Irish law. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts.
